How long is treatment?
There is no one size fits all when it comes to the length of time in treatment. Your treatment goals and the progress you make will help to determine the length of treatment and how often you will be seen for a session.

How long are each individual sessions?
Individual sessions are 55-60 minutes. Sessions may be extended at an additional cost. Please inquire via email: connect@mwmpsychotherapy.com.

Do I need a diagnosis to have therapy?
No, you do not need a diagnosis to engage in therapy (if filing insurance a diagnosis will be needed). There are many reasons an individual will seek out therapeutic services. These reasons may include: struggles with specific symptoms and behaviors of a mental illness; to increase personal wellness/self care; to increase communication skills, improve various interpersonal relationships; and ultimately utilize therapy as a source of preventative care (consider how we may attend our yearly wellness medical appointments, exercise regularly, and eat healthy to increase or maintain an overall healthy lifestyle). When/if a diagnosis is given, its used to help guide treatment.

Do you accept insurance?
I'm currently paneled with MedCost, CBHA, and Aetna insurance carriers. Please check with your insurance carrier if you have out of network benefits, copays, or deductibles.

What are your self-pay rates?
An individual session is $135 for 55-60 minutes. Sessions may be extended at an additional cost. Forms of payments accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, FSA and HSA cards. Payment information will be gathered with the Intake documents you complete through my secure HIPAA compliant EHR system and kept on file for all appointments.

Do you work with children or teenagers?
I currently only work with adults and teenagers age 18 or older.

Do you write letters for ESA?
